THE Springfield City Group is seeking a strategic development partner in order to develop the remaining three stages of a master planned project in Queensland.
Stage 1 of the 4-stage mixed-use development has been sold out and completed. It consists of 66 apartments and 319sqm of retail space. However, the opportunity to develop the remaining three stages have been taken to market.
The development known as Park Avenue sits on a 6,694 sqm site in Springfield at 7001 and 7004 Barry Alexander Drive. Springfield is located 32km southwest of Brisbane.
The last three stages will deliver a total of 254 dwellings and 632sqm of retail and commercial space.
Stage 2 will hold 74 apartments and 196sqm commercial gross floor area. Stage 3 and 4 will consist of 180 apartments and 436sqm of commercial gross floor area total.
Knight Frank’s Christian Sandstrom is presenting the development opportunity on the market via an Expressions of Interest campaign.
With Stage 1 already sold out, the remaining stages present a glowing investment and development opportunity.
“The greater Park Avenue masterplan adopts a unique design that incorporates surrounding parklands,” he said.
“Springfield is strengthened by robust demographics and supported by an estimated $20 billion in project investment to date.
“It is an enviable community with undeniable attraction, and the Park Avenue development enjoys immediate proximity to the Orion Shopping Centre, education and medical precincts and has ease of access to the Robelle Domain Parklands.
“The land offering is well suited for a strategic development partner that shares the Greater Springfield long-term vision,” Sandstrom adds.
The EOI campaign closes at 3pm on Thursday, April 13.
