THE City of Subiaco Council has offloaded an inner Perth development site at Hay Street to Bunnings Warehouse for $13 million.
The mostly-clear 9,984sqm site at 592-612 Hay Street and 2 Bishop Street in Jolimont is expected to accommodate a new Bunnings warehouse upon planning approval, replacing the Homebase Subiaco store.
The site has a 166-metre frontage was sold via auction by Colliers International, with two other developers competing for the major asset.
It has commercial and residential zoning and sold at $1,302 per sqm.
